What made you want to become a fashion
designer?
I love the fast pace of the industry, how it's constantly
challenging, and no day is the same. I thrive on the fact
that the creative freedom is endless, and anything is possible.
Have you had any experience working in the
industry so far?
I have been lucky
enough to have experienced working in a range of different
environments within the industry, and have had the opportunity to work with some extremely talented people,
who I have learnt an enormous amount from. For example I have
previously completed internships in the design departments of
Chloe, Christopher Kane, Matthew Williamson, and Karen
Millen.
Who do you design for?
My clothes are designed for confident, effortlessly chic
women, with an individual sense of style.
Who do see wearing your
clothes?
When designing I always have in mind strong, feminine women
who are fearless, captivating, and beautiful.
What would be your dream job?
My dream is to design fashion for an inspirational and
innovative fashion house.
What is the inspiration
behind your collection?
The focus of my collection is on movement, looking
at how twisting material on top of, and around the body in an
unusual way can both restrict and enhance mobility. A concentration
on textiles adds unique surface texture to further effect the
movement of the garments, whilst enhancing their aesthetic
power.
